How it works
Integration principles.
- Authentication: server-to-server credentials issued per organisation and environment.
- Integration: HTTPS request from your backend. Do not call the API from a browser or mobile client.
- Read/write: assessment modules are read-only; Outcome Capture accepts writes from approved consumers.
- Development access: request-only. Credentials are issued manually after review.
- Versioning: breaking changes ship under a new version with a deprecation window.
- Attribution: provider attribution and storage limitations must be preserved by the consumer.
- Rate limits: agreed per consumer and environment, enforced per module.
- Data provenance: every response states which evidence is verified, provider-sourced or missing.
- Privacy: we do not ask for personal data we do not need, and we do not resell customer inputs.
Public Free Status API documentation will be linked here from Genuinely Free once that page is live.
